Employees are a reflection upon Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC. As such, employees should maintain a neat and clean appearance during working hours. Poor grooming is not allowed as it presents an unprofessional image to our clients and members of the public. Employees who do not meet a professional standard will be given the appropriate corrective action (verbal or written warning). Check with your supervisor if you have any questions as to what is work appropriate.

Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC highly encourages you to present a crisp, clean, professional appearance at all times. Presenting an unprofessional appearance is considered a violation of company policy and will result in corrective action up to and including termination. Please help Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC both look and be the best company in the market.

The following miscellaneous items also must be adhered to:

Fingernails are to be conservative, clean, neat, and not extreme in length (no more than 1/2 inch) or shape
Make-up must be of natural or neutral tones
Facial hair must be neatly maintained
Excessive body/facial piercing accessories or offensive tattoos must be covered up during work hours

If you do not meet the standards of this policy, corrective action will be taken, which may include the employee leaving the premises. Non-exempt employees will not be compensated for any work time missed because of failure to comply with this policy. Three (3) instances of corrective actions based on appearance, hygiene, or dress code in twelve (12) months or two (2) times within thirty (30) days is subject to further corrective actions, up to and including termination.

Reasonable accommodations will be considered for those employees whose religious beliefs or medical conditions require deviations from this policy. If you need to request an accommodation, please contact your manager.

Management has the authority to modify the appearance standards set forth in these guidelines, according to business requirements.
