Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC (the Company) has agreed to purchase a 2003 Toyota Corolla, VIN JTDBR32E330042790, for Jacquline Handy (the Employee) who resides in 9988 Windmill Lakes Blvd Apt 2114, Houston, TX 77075 on the date of September 20, 2023, under the understanding and condition that the Employee will repay the Company for the cost of the car through payroll deductions.

Let it be known that the Company and the Employee recognize that this Agreement is not intended to constitute any type of employment agreement or guarantee of continued employment. Let it also be known that the Company would not provide such a car unless the Employee intended to continue to work for the Company and if the Employee did not severally agree to reimburse the Company in the event that the Employee voluntarily or involuntarily terminated his or her employment before fully repaying the car's cost.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the promise stated below, the undersigned agree that:

Ownership and Title:
Upon signing this contract, the title and full ownership of the car will be transferred to the Employee. However, the Employee acknowledges and agrees that in the event she either resigns or is terminated from the Company before the full amount of the car is repaid:
a) The Company is entitled to withhold the Employee's entire paycheck for payment towards the car.
b) The total amount withheld from the Employee's paycheck shall not exceed the outstanding balance of the car, up to a maximum of $2,700.

Repayment Schedule:
The Company will deduct $200 from the Employee's bi-weekly paycheck as repayment for the car, amounting to $400 per month. The deductions will continue until the full amount of $2,700 is repaid. At the end of the year, the full amount of the Employee's annual bonus will be applied towards the payment of the car.

30-Day Powertrain Warranty:
The Company provides a 30-day powertrain warranty to the Employee, covering the engine and transmission of the car. This warranty begins on the date of this agreement and will expire 30 days thereafter.

Fees, Tolls, and Liabilities:
The Employee acknowledges and agrees that the Company shall not be held responsible for any tickets, fees, tolls, accidents, or any other liabilities associated with the car once this document has been signed and the title has been given to the Employee. All such responsibilities and liabilities shall be borne solely by the Employee.

Termination of Employment:
If the Employee voluntarily or involuntarily terminates her employment with the Company before fully repaying the car's cost, the Employee agrees to allow the Company to withhold her entire paycheck, up to the outstanding balance of the car, not exceeding $2,700.

Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be construed under the laws of the State of Texas. If any provision or part of a provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid by any tribunal of competent jurisdiction, such part shall be deemed automatically adjusted, if possible, and if not possible, it shall be deemed deleted from this Agreement as though it had never been included herein. In either case, the balance of any such provision and of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
