Employee appearance contributes to Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC's culture, and reputation. Employees are expected to present themselves in a professional manner that results in a favorable impression by clients and customers.

Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC managers may exercise reasonable discretion to determine appropriateness in employee dress and appearance. Employees who do not meet a professional standard will be given the appropriate corrective action (verbal or written warning). Where a reasonable accommodation is requested, the Company will evaluate the request and an accommodation will be made where required.

Dress Code:

Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC’s dress code is one of professional uniformity and presentation. All employees are required to wear healthcare scrubs that align with the clinic’s aesthetic. This standard ensures a cohesive and professional environment that reflects the company’s brand and commitment to excellence.

Approved Scrub Colors:

Scrubs must be in colors that match the clinic’s brand palette, including pink, brown, gray, or black.
Colors not permitted include green, blue, or any shades that do not coordinate with the clinic’s color scheme.

Scrub Guidelines:

  • Pants: Scrub pants in pink, brown, gray, or black.
  • Shirts: Long or short sleeve scrub tops in matching approved colors.
  • Shoes: Comfortable professional shoes in pink, brown, gray, black, or white. Dress shoes, high heels, or dress boots may also be worn if appropriate for the work environment.

All clothing must be neat and clean in appearance.

If you do not meet the standards of this policy, corrective action will be taken, which may include the employee leaving the premises. Non-exempt employees will not be compensated for any work time missed because of failure to comply with this policy. Three (3) instances of corrective actions based on appearance, hygiene, or dress code in twelve (12) months or two (2) times within thirty (30) days is subject to further corrective actions, up to and including termination.
