Harassment and Intimidation Policy:

It is the policy of Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC to strictly prohibit intentional and unintentional harassment and intimidation of any individual by another person, whether they are an employee or a contractor. This prohibition is comprehensive and includes, but is not limited to, harassment or intimidation on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, religion, marital status, veteran status, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), or age. Furthermore, this policy unequivocally extends to any form of harassment or intimidation that may arise from other circumstances, including but not limited to workplace dynamics, perceived competition for opportunities, or personal disagreements.

This policy is not intended to regulate personal morality; rather, its purpose is to ensure that in the workplace, no one is subjected to any form of harassment or intimidation, regardless of the reason. Behaviors that intimidate, corner, belittle, threaten, or in any way create an unwelcome and hostile environment for any individual are in direct violation of this policy and will not be tolerated.

Reporting and Investigation Procedures:

If any employee or contractor feels that they have been subjected to conduct which violates this policy, including any form of harassment or intimidation, they should immediately report the matter to their direct supervisor. If the individual is unable for any reason to contact their supervisor, or if they have not received a satisfactory response within five (5) business days after reporting any incident, the individual should contact any higher-level manager in their reporting hierarchy.

Upon receiving a report of harassment or intimidation, the incident will be documented and thoroughly investigated. Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC is committed to ensuring a fair and unbiased investigation process.

Consequences of Violations:

In cases where harassment or intimidation is confirmed, the outcome will include a warning letter to the offending party. If a repeat offense occurs, further disciplinary action may be taken, up to and including termination of employment or contractual relations, depending on the severity and nature of the offense.

All complaints and investigations will be kept confidential to the extent possible, but absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. In addition, there will be no tolerance for any form of retaliation against individuals who report unwelcome conduct to management or who cooperate in the investigations of such reports in accordance with this policy. If an individual feels that they have been subjected to any such retaliation, they should report it in the same manner as they would report harassment or intimidation.

I have read and understand the above policy and agree to abide by its guidelines.
