Testing Positive for COVID-19:

Employees who test positive for COVID-19 or have symptoms of COVID-19 should stay at home and self-isolate. Employees should not return to work or other community settings until the criteria to discontinue home isolation are met. In general, individuals may return to work or congregate settings when:

  • At least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared AND
  • At least 24 hours have passed since fever went away without the use of fever-reducing medications and
    improvement in other symptoms
  • If the individual did NOT have symptoms but has a positive COVID-19 diagnostic test, the individual can
    return to work after 10 days have passed since the date of the positive COVID-19 diagnostic test.

Voluntary COVID-19 Vaccine Policy:

The company has adopted this COVID-19 Voluntary Vaccine Policy (the “Policy”) to safeguard the health and well-being of its employees, their families, customers and visitors, others who spend time in our facilities, and the community, from the risks associated with COVID-19.

This Policy is intended to comply with any applicable federal, state, and local guidance and authority. It is based on guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), public health, and government officials, as applicable.

This Policy applies to all Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC employees, and the COVID-19 vaccine.

Other Details:

The health and safety of Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC employees is our top priority. To help ensure that the Company continues to operate in the safest manner possible, Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC strongly encourages all employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine since it is widely available.

To allow employees the opportunity to receive the vaccination, the Company will consider timely requests for one-time schedule changes. Non-exempt employees will be paid their regular rate for the time spent receiving the COVID-19 vaccination if scheduled during regular work hours.

Employees may establish their receipt of the vaccination by presenting written evidence of immunization from an authorized healthcare provider. All information provided to Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC as it relates to the COVID-19 vaccination will be regarded as confidential and will be stored in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
