Scar Tissue & Fibrosis Treatment
- High-Speed Vibration
- Cupping & Vacuum Therapy
- Radio Frequency
- Ultra Cavitation
- Kinesiology Tape
- Garments Assistance
We use high-speed vibration therapy to reduce pain and break up scar tissue. Operating at over 10,000 RPM with dual-motion technology, it reaches deep layers to improve mobility, flexibility, lymphatic flow, and help remodel uneven scar tissue for a smoother recovery.
We use cupping and vacuum therapy to free restricted fascia, soften scar tissue, and boost healthy blood flow. This improves mobility, eases pain, reduces tension, and helps release adhesions—enhancing tissue elasticity and smoothing the skin.
We use Radio Frequency (RF) to heat the deeper layers of the skin, triggering collagen and elastin remodeling. This makes scar tissue more flexible, more responsive to treatment, and easier to release during post-op therapy.
When scar tissue forms within fatty areas, ultracavitation can be used to break down the fatty layer, making the tissue easier to release. It also supports seroma reduction when performed under a doctor’s guidance, helping improve tissue mobility, pliability, and overall healing in targeted areas.
We may also use kinesiology tape (KT tape) to boost microcirculation, reduce fluid buildup, and control swelling. This helps decrease lymphatic congestion and supports smoother, more comfortable healing.
We also provide surgical drain removal, garment fitment, and patient education to ensure your recovery remains safe, effective, and properly supported at every stage.

Add-On To Your Treatment
CO2 Carboxy Gel
Our medical-grade CO₂ carboxytherapy gel is a powerful boost to your post-operative recovery. This clinically proven formula creates a controlled “oxygen-deprived” effect on the skin. In response, your body rushes oxygen-rich blood, nutrients, and growth factors to the area—jump-starting repair at a cellular level.
Note: This treatment is performed separately by our Esthetician and must be booked on its own.
Post-Op Add-On
1 Session | 30 Minutes
Post-Op Add-On Package
3 Pack | 3 Session
713-474-4774
Why It Works:
The carboxy gel triggers a physiological response known as the Bohr Effect, making your body think the treated area urgently needs oxygen. This sudden surge in circulation helps:
- Accelerate tissue repair
- Improve skin quality over scars and surgical sites
- Reduce inflammation
- Support healthier collagen production
- Promote smoother, more uniform healing
How We Use It:
Although the CO₂ mask is commonly used for facial rejuvenation, we apply this advanced technique specifically over post-surgical areas to enhance recovery results. It’s a gentle yet highly effective add-on that complements your lymphatic drainage and post-op sessions.
- This service is NOT performed during your regular post-op treatment.
- It must be booked separately and is completed in a private treatment room by our licensed Esthetician.
- Offered in packages of 3 or 6 sessions for optimal healing support.

Praises From Our Clients
I had different therapists and they were all great but Katherine was amazing. She takes care of you and listens to your needs. I have booked other massages with her and they are just as great as the post op. So grateful today they have this place!
The facility is clean, chic, and very welcoming. My session went smoothly, and I’m already excited to return for more treatments. I’ll definitely be adding chemical peels into my new facial routine as well.
Thank you, Eunice, for your amazing service! Highly recommend.
Honestly, such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended! ✨💆♀️💖
I just wanted to come on here and give my review and I must say Katherine you are absolutely amazing! Visiting Carolina Pintos Therapy office has been a first time for me and Katherine came highly recommended. So now I’m going to say I understand why. Katherine is very knowledgeable and so helpful and listens and makes me feel very comfortable and confident. I leave extremely happy. Thanks again Katherine everything has been wonderful! I know I’m in good hands! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! She is very caring and kind!
No surgery recovery as the place is known for. But I had 2 csections, last one almost 4 years ago. I got the apron belly/mom pooch. Most self conscious area for me so I’m hoping for noticeable improvements!!
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How long does it take for scar tissue to heal after surgery, making it harder to undo?
Q: Who would benefit most from our scar tissue and fibrosis treatment?
- Patients recovering from various surgeries: Especially those in the weeks or months post-operation who continue to experience stiffness and pain, where fibrosis might be impeding recovery.
- Individuals who have undergone cryotherapy: Those who have developed scar tissue as a side effect of treatments such as cryolipolysis, which can sometimes lead to fibrotic changes in the treated areas.
- People with chronic post-surgical pain: Including patients who have had surgeries like C-sections, hernia repairs, or orthopedic surgeries, and are suffering from lingering discomfort due to scar tissue.
- Individuals with cosmetic concerns about scars: Including those resulting from burns or other skin traumas who are seeking to improve skin texture and flexiblity.
- Clients who have undergone intensive body contouring procedures: Who require management of fibrotic tissue to ensure smooth results and optimal outcomes from their treatments.
- Athletes recovering from muscle injuries: Who need to break down fibrotic tissue to restore full range of motion and prevent long-term mobility issues.
- Patients with internal scarring from invasive procedures: Such as those with adhesions after abdominal surgeries, which can cause chronic pain and other complications.
- Aging individuals experiencing increased skin rigidity: Who want to maintain skin elasticity and reduce discomfort associated with aging-related fibrotic changes.
- People dealing with specific fibrotic conditions: Like Dupuytren’s contracture or Peyronie’s disease, where fibrosis significantly impacts functionality and quality of life.
Q: Is fibrosis the same as scar tissue?
Q: How do you flatten scar tissue after surgery?
- Radio Frequency (RF) Therapy: Enhances the flexibility of scar tissue by stimulating collagen and elastin production, aiding in its release.
- Cupping Therapy: Improves flexibility and provides pain relief through suction. This method increases collagen and elastin, releases fascia, and helps release scar tissue.
- High-Speed Vibration Technology: Targets pain and assists in the release of scar tissue using high-frequency vibration, achieving deep therapeutic penetration.
- Ultra Cavitation: Aids in reducing fatty layers in scar tissue and seromas, facilitating tissue release.
These methods are used individually or in combination to effectively flatten and release scar tissue, enhancing recovery after surgery.
