Our team of expert therapists are all certified in a variety of massages and treatments, including Manual Body Lymphatic Drainage, Facial Lymphatic Drainage, Compression Therapy, Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), Post-Surgery Massage, and Post-Surgery Recovery Treatment. The latter is ideal for general surgery rehabilitation and cosmetic surgery recovery such as liposuction, BBL, tummy tucks, and more. Additionally, we offer Prenatal and Postpartum Massage, also known as Pregnancy Massage. Q: Do you offer packages?
A: We have a loyalty program where you earn 1 point for every visit and after every 3rd visit you get $25 OFF (Note: Points expire after 12 months if they are not used).
Q: Why do I need treatment after my surgery procedures?
A: Medical massage and therapy will help move the fluid by gently pumping access fluid through your lymph vessels into your lymph nodes. This will reduce swelling and discomfort. Without Medical massage and therapy the inflammation can evolve into fibrosis (a permanent hardening of the tissue) or a seroma can form. Many doctors prescribe a lymphatic drainage massage after liposuction or other plastic surgery procedures to make sure their patients get the best possible results from their procedure. Depending on your inflammatory stage, we might also introduce other therapy treatments, like the use of taping, or the use of post-op medical machines. These machines can further break down scar tissue, and help prevent other complications. Because our bodies heal and react differently to surgical procedures, there is never a cookie-cutter process for post-surgery recovery. That is why we recommend that you book an appointment and have Carolina Pintos prescribe your treatment in person.
Q: How many sessions do I need to book for post op recovery?
A: This largely depends on the type of surgery you had and on how your body is dealing with the trauma of the surgical procedure(s), there is no cookie cutter treatment(s) for post surgery recovery. That is why we recommend that you book an appointment and have Carolina Pintos prescribe your treatment plan in person.
