Every session is carefully personalized based on your diagnosis, stage of treatment, surgical history, and current health status. Whether you are newly diagnosed, actively receiving treatment, or recovering after treatment is complete, our goal is to safely support healthy lymphatic flow toward functioning pathways while providing comfort, education, and individualized care throughout every stage of recovery.
Cancer Support Therapy
We provide a two-stage treatment approach, beginning with gentle lymphatic drainage tailored specifically for oncology patients. During diagnosis and active treatment, care focuses on supporting immune function, reducing swelling, encouraging healthy lymphatic flow, and promoting comfort.
As healing progresses and scar tissue or fibrosis develops, treatment transitions into specialized manual techniques to improve tissue mobility, soften restricted areas, and support range of motion. When appropriate, we may also incorporate high vibration therapy, cupping, and kinesiology taping to support lymphatic flow and recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I receive Cancer Support Therapy while undergoing chemotherapy or radiation?
Generally yes, but treatment must be adapted to your medical condition and approved by your physician. During active treatment, care is usually very gentle and focused on comfort, swelling reduction, lymphatic support, and relaxation. We avoid aggressive pressure, irritated tissue, radiation sensitive areas, ports, surgical sites, and any area your medical team has restricted.
Is Cancer Support Therapy only for after cancer treatment?
No. Cancer Support Therapy may be helpful during diagnosis, active treatment, post surgical recovery, and long term survivorship. The techniques used will depend on your treatment stage, symptoms, surgical history, lymph node involvement, and tissue sensitivity.
What is the difference between lymphatic drainage and Cancer Support Therapy?
Lymphatic drainage focuses mainly on encouraging healthy lymphatic flow and reducing swelling. Cancer Support Therapy is broader. It may include oncology lymphatic drainage, scar tissue care, fibrosis treatment, mobility support, high vibration therapy, cupping, and kinesiology taping when appropriate. The goal is to support the body through different stages of cancer treatment and recovery.
Does Cancer Support Therapy Help With Pain & Swelling?
Yes. Many oncology patients report reduced swelling, pressure, heaviness, tightness, and post-surgical discomfort after treatment. Gentle lymphatic techniques may also promote relaxation and support overall recovery during and after cancer treatment.
When should I contact my doctor before scheduling?
You should contact your physician before treatment if you have active infection, sudden or severe swelling, unexplained pain, fever, redness, warmth, blood clots, heart or kidney concerns, open wounds, or active cancer treatment restrictions. Physician approval is especially important during active treatment or when there is metastatic disease.
Can Lymphatic Drainage or Cancer Support Therapy Spread Cancer?
No. Current evidence does not show that properly performed Manual Lymphatic Drainage or oncology informed Cancer Support Therapy spreads cancer. Our Cancer Support Therapy is a gentle, clinical approach designed to support healthy lymphatic flow, reduce swelling, improve comfort, and address scar tissue or fibrosis when appropriate.
Treatment is always adapted to the patient’s diagnosis, treatment stage, surgical history, and medical precautions. For patients currently undergoing cancer treatment, or those with active disease, metastatic disease, infection, blood clots, or other medical concerns, physician approval is required before beginning care. Our goal is to support recovery safely while respecting the body’s healing process and the guidance of the oncology team.
How does lymphatic drainage help if my lymph nodes were removed?
When lymph nodes are removed or damaged, fluid may have a harder time moving through its normal pathways. Gentle lymphatic techniques are used to encourage fluid toward healthy, functioning lymphatic pathways and surrounding regions that can still support drainage. This may help reduce swelling, heaviness, tightness, and discomfort.
Can scar tissue or fibrosis make swelling worse?
Yes. Scar tissue and fibrosis can restrict tissue mobility and make it harder for fluid to move efficiently through an area. When appropriate, specialized manual techniques may help soften restricted tissue, improve mobility, and support healthier fluid movement.
