CO2 carboxy gel is a topical treatment. The two-part gel is mixed and applied to the skin, where it releases carbon dioxide for the length of the session. The published research on CO2-emitting masks reports better hydration in the short term and firmer, more elastic skin after several weeks of use. It is not injectable carboxytherapy, not hyperbaric oxygen, and not a replacement for hands-on scar tissue and fibrosis treatment. For post-surgical skin we apply it only once your incisions are closed and your surgeon has cleared it.

What a CO2 Carboxy Gel Session Is Like
Thirty minutes, lying down, with the gel on the skin the whole time. Most people describe a light tingling and a cool-then-warm feeling as the gel activates.
1 — Before
We screen for pregnancy, allergies, open wounds, active skin irritation and recent procedures. Post-surgical areas need closed incisions and your surgeon’s clearance.
2 — Apply
The skin is cleansed, the two-part gel is mixed and applied in a layer. Carbon dioxide is released against the skin for the length of the session.
3 — Remove
The gel is lifted off and the skin is cleansed. The area usually looks slightly flushed and feels hydrated. No downtime.
4 — Between sessions
Skip harsh actives that day and keep the area moisturized. For a course, sessions run about a week apart; we book the next one before you leave.

What is CO2 carboxy gel?
A topical, two-part gel that releases carbon dioxide while it sits on the skin. We offer a face mask and a body gel for post-surgical and general skin care. Each is a 30-minute in-office application.
Is this the same as injectable carboxytherapy?
No. Injectable carboxytherapy delivers CO2 under the skin through a needle and is a separate medical procedure. Everything on this page is topical gel; nothing is injected.
Does CO2 carboxy gel work?
For hydration and a firmer-looking surface, the small published studies say yes: better hydration at four weeks and measurable firmness and elasticity gains at ten weeks. The studies are small and sponsor-run, and the effect is on the skin surface, not on fat, scar tissue or cellulite.
Can I use it after surgery?
Yes, once your incisions are closed and your surgeon has cleared it. We check both before applying gel to a post-surgical area. It does not replace post-op lymphatic drainage or scar tissue treatment; it sits alongside them.
